Tatry 2022 Zabawa Postponed

Once again the committee has no choice but to postpone the Tatry in Spring, “Wiosenna Zabawa,” which was scheduled for Saturday 26th February 2022 Dancing is still not allowed and it would seem that this restriction will not be lifted in the next few weeks. We would still have to wear masks at all times unless eating and drinking, and everyone would have to be seated at all times, no standing around talking and catching up with friends including standing around at the bar.

As such, Tatry in Spring, “Wiosenna Zabawa” has now been rescheduled yet again to a new date. We all look forward to hosting a fantastic event on Saturday 25th June 2022

If you have purchased tickets, these will be automatically transferred to the new date. If this date is not suitable for you, please contact us by email, on info@tatry.org.au or by calling the Tatry phone number (0403697080) and we will arrange a refund of the tickets you purchased. Please advise any family and friends who may not have access to this communication. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you will be attending the function on the new date of 25th June 2022.

The Committee thank you for continuing to support us and we thank those who generously donate their time towards our fund-raising efforts.

Thank you once again and we look forward to seeing you all on the 25th June 2022. Bernie Brzezinski

    Tatry in 2022

    Dear families,

Welcome to 2022! We are excited and looking forward to another big year.

As you would be aware, the schedule for returning to school in Term 1 is different for everybody due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In response to this, the Tatry committee has decided to delay the start date for junior group and intermediate rehearsals to ensure a safe return, as well as a productive one.

Rehearsals for Junior Tatry groups 1 and 2 and Intermediates will resume on Tuesday, 1 March, 2022, at 6pm. Registration forms will be handed out on the night.

The committee is hoping that by this time South Australia will be beyond the COVID-19 peak and exposure risks will be reduced. Regardless of this, however, and in keeping with the direction from SA Health, junior Tatry rehearsals will definitely return on 1 March, unless notified otherwise. Please refer to our website and Facebook page for any updates.

Anyone interested in joining the junior Tatry groups is also welcome to attend on the night to learn more and register. Children in groups 1, 2 and intermediates are aged from five to 15 years.

Fees will remain as per last year.

    Ratios & Safe Practice

As many are aware from our correspondence throughout the pandemic, we are classified as an ‘Indoor Sport’ for the purpose of Covid Plans.

Recreational Dance Classes is capped at 1:7 ratio (I person per 7 square metres) due to the nature of class being ‘recreational’ and ‘fitness orientated’. (SA Covid Plan directive)

    What this means

We are very lucky to have such a large facility. As such, rehearsals will be the same as last year, with the exception that there will be no singing. Therefore, when rehearsals commence for Junior Tatry, they will start at 6pm and conclude at 7pm.

Parents will still not be allowed to enter the main area of Dom Polski, but can come into the foyer.

A Covid Marshall will be in the foyer greeting everybody to ensure that dancers are entering safely and being picked up following their rehearsal.

We ask that dancers be responsible for their own safety and that of others by:
    – Not sharing drinks/snacks.
    – Sanitising hands upon entry and at the conclusion of rehearsal.

We thank you for taking the time to read the information, and for your support and understanding. We are doing all we can to act in the best interests of our community based on the advice provided.

We look forward to a great year!
    Kind regards,
    Kasia and Basia
